As night falls, and I fade

into dreams, I see your face

on every street. As I follow the

scent you leave, I am reminded

 

of the way you used to be; light,

breezy, full of life, as your

smile affected every inch of me.

It’s in these moments of dark and dreams,

 

I find myself. I feel the way

you breathe, your breasts rise,

and fall with the music inside you.

 

I can hear your Haiku melodies,

And the way you said, “I love you”.

You are gone now, and my night gives way to dawn.
