....what are your intentions

Love Sonnet XLVIII

Yaara, I must ask, what are your intentions,

your promises? Will you give my heart

peace, or will you bring me rain? Will

you find me in these shadows, in the dark

places where I roam? It is here I am crying,

here where I listen for your footsteps, for

your soft words spoken in metaphor.

Will you quiet these tremors in my soul,

or be the tsunami that crashes, carrying

me out to sea? I must ask, how did this

happen, this meeting, this listening to

the rhythm of hearts beating like Karma,

waiting only for you to hear me crying,

to heal this lonely soul. Are you listening?

oh my, I was about to sign off, then I saw you did this so I came to take a peek.
My heart is pulsing, I see the Warrior standing alone in the realms of his making.
I see him trying to not weep but he curses himself for his failure.
He is waiting in the dark, hoping to hear 'her' footsteps. The warrior is at his most vulnerable.
The tsunami and tremors speak of the tidal wave and earthquake his emotions create in him.
He bares his lonely soul to ask, "Are you listening?"
Curt! Your writings have multiplied in its wonderful stories! Gosh! I love this! So romantic!
