Love Sonnet L

 

A chocolate lake summons an erotic

swim at midnight, yet the

fear of exposure holds you back. Why?

Why should the chance to swim uninhibited,

 

to feel the cool water upon your skin; to

have all of you exposed to moonlight’s fate?

Sometimes, as our world spins on, and we move

constantly as space expands, there are only

 

a few moments when what we decide determines

the way the stars align. So, my love, come

swim with me this night of magic,

 

live life with the taste of passion on your lips,

and the warmth of me arousing the

movement of your beating heart.
