A HURRICANE SWIRL

can I be a hurricane

that swirls insanely into your life;

whose hypnotic winds

play tag while laughing

through your now tousled hair

and lifts you into a sigh filled din,

while tingling your erotically-shaded skin.

can I be a hurricane

disrupting your life

leaving everything outta place

and feeling like the tension

found floating calmly

on the ivory of a Nora Jones song;

or the movements of Monk’s fingers

felt as you roam in his swing.

disruptions that make everything right

~~~
this hurricane swirl
is not a “love jones” twirl,
a disturbance whose momentary tingle
more often leaves confusion
illusion
and a world of tears.
this hurricane is more the heart beat
captured in the fires of change;
the motion within the imperfect way
a touch can raise goose bumps on naked skin
and words become a metaphorical zephyr
whispering Haiku
on a star-filled whim.
this hurricane plays in Monoceros
seeking a Winter Rose
blooming in the star-fields
of the Milky Way;
where hurricane winds
create new stars
and a stellar rose.
born in disruption,
this Rosette is held gently
for you to touch.
~~~

can I be the hurricane

swirling insanely into your life

whose swirling laughs,

sing Haiku with your name, as

my fingers caress your skin

while tingling

the love within your soul.
