CINNAMON MOON

Yesterday,

I ventured out,

went for a walk.

Got lost. ;o)

But what the hell

it was a nice day,

the air warm

and then, almost within reach,

there was this small,

ghost like, half moon

floating on a blue sky.

It reminded me of

the way you sometimes

would glide up my skin

and caress me on the neck.

It reminded me of

a hint of cinnamon

sprinkled lightly on top of

chocolate skin.

With a moon like that,

what was I supposed to do?

So I ate it!

Playful and sweet, this poem turns a simple walk into a flirty daydream. The mix of humor (“so I ate it!”) and intimacy makes it charming and memorable.

Yes! Exactly! Thank you, Roma, for your wonderful review/comment. And thanks for stopping by.
Ha, creepy, I'm not gonna lie this was a creepy read.

Warming us up for Halloween.

(fine musical selection as well)
