Love Sonnet LIII

(Something Inside)

 

 

Along the coast of the Aegean Sea, lays

the Province of Izmir, where love comes

with 39 degrees of moon light

that spreads across your face

 

highlighting lips that long to

be kissed softly, then with the

passion of wanting desire.

As your breath mingles with

 

mine, and your hands softly

caress my face, the ancient

Temple of Meryemana crumbles

 

at our feet, as 39 degrees

comes full circle and a

new galaxy is formed.
