Love Sonnet LV

 

 

The moon was full when

the Spring flower opened

with the promise of love. Moon

flowers also bring hope,

 

the hope of a better world filled

with the ways of balance, of a

life where divergence and

continuity are carried on their

 

petals. These petals, red with

anticipation, hold a kiss, a kiss

by a rose on the grave. This Spring

 

flower, highlighted by your moon and

your scent, grows with each passing hour

as our world breaks through all these chains.
