Love Sonnet LXVIIIA Poem by redzone....would you careLove
Sonnet LXVIII If
I wrote you a poem, would you
hear me? Would you read me, swallow
my metaphors, kiss my similes
into oblivion? I only have
words to offer, words filled with
allegories, stories of how the moon
holds my haiku, hoping to be next
to you. I only have this pen,
its ink flows like rivers of Time
in your direction, splashing alliteration
on the pages of your heart.
Yaraa, my beloved, are you there?
If I wrote this poem for you, would
you hear me? Or care? Aztec
