Love Sonnet LXX

Love Sonnet LXX

Love Sonnet LXX

Yaraa, I see you, all of you

as your faded jeans, peasant blouse,

walk along this dusty path. It

was during a full October Moon, with

multi-colored leaves blown

everywhere, that your Autumn shadow

kissed my lips with your glow. Then

came December with its Winter

snow covering our hearts with

white, with frozen ground and

boundaries. Gone are your

blue jeans and peasant blouse,

your warmth, your gentle touch.

Yaraa, where have you gone?
