Maybe I’m looking for something

I can’t have, but the desire is real,

tangible, like the way a Summer breeze

raises goosebumps on my naked skin;

 

the way your kiss always

makes me feel alive; the way

your smile captures my heart,

beating it to the music of you.

 

Maybe what I seek is too

complex, too deep in its emotion,

in the motion of your sway,

 

and the sweetness of your

touch. But, Yaraa, why can

I hold you, only in my dreams?
