Love Sonnet LXXVI

 

 

I wanted to touch the

light, the heat, I saw

in you, saw in your

smile, and felt in your

 

gentle touch. But you were

nothing but shadows, seen

only in dreams, dreams from

a long time ago when life

 

was alive with adventures,

with possibilities, and

colors. But these colors

 

collided with reality, with a

world filled with death. You vanished

one day, leaving me to stand alone.
