The Time Has Come

As the bombs fell, the

Earth shook with blood,

with flying body parts, and

the stench of death. My

tears won’t fix this madness,

this horror humanity faces, nor

will just hoping to outlast this

human destruction.

So, I gather my strength, my

understanding, knowing we do

not have to live this way, that

there is a new Communist pathway,

the Avakian Trail, forged through

bitter struggle, pointing to a brighter

future and colorful vistas.

 

As the bombs fell, the Earth

shook with blood soaked horrors,

I stand, I spit you out, and

join with the growing millions

of decent people

to rid the Earth of these monsters

and their capitalist-imperialist system.

This is very much like the Russian war in Ukraine. I did read a story about it on here written by another writer. It was written a week ago. And it might be something that you can relate to.

This is quite an intense piece.
As a reader, I can sense a strong inner voice throughout.
I find this very fascinating and inviting in its own way.
It’s a lot to take in, but I enjoyed the read.
