There are times when the

only thing to do is nothing,

simply take in the space and

be present, savoring the time

 

and knowing it matters.

This is how I reacted

to your reaching out,

touching my face, tracing

 

my lips with your warm intentions.

I was both surprised and calm,

allowing my heart to flutter

 

as I realized that

it was the passion in you

seeking the wild in me.
