Love Sonnet XCI

 

 

Take me by the hand, lead

me to where it’s only you and me,

to the rise and fall of our breathing,

and the silence of our feelings.

 

Hold me gently as moonlight

dances upon the waters, until

the dawn comes nearer,

and darkness fades away.

 

Hold me. Hold me closer, and we will

face the day, brave whatever

may come our way, hold me.

 

Take my hand, lead me til

it is only you and me, feel

the path unfolding beneath our feet.

There is nothing wrong with begging for love... and your sonnet is beautiful... you repeat "take me"... you must have loads of love to give... and that is what makes the world go round....

Yep, I have a real name. My parents named me Curtis (Curtis J. Mohn, for some reason they thought people might give me the nick name 'CJ'). Aztec Warrior and redzone are pen names I have used for a number of years on my poems. But in writing comments and reviews I have been signing as Curt (short for Curtis). So Betty, there you have it. ;0)
