Love Sonnet XCIII

"

....I see you fully

"

Love Sonnet XCIII

You put your hands on my

shoulder, it feels like the weight

of worlds, those blue-green

orbs, carrying the hopes of

millennia. I take your hands,

warm, knowing the dark soil

of misery and mystery, and

kiss their roughness, and

calluses of your life.

It is a hard life, one where suffering

and dignity are held close, yet,

where there is still courage, wrapped

in the promise of tomorrows. Yaraa,

I see you, hold your hands in mine.

There’s a deep tenderness in this—hands carrying whole lifetimes, yet still reaching out to be held,
And in that quiet “I see you,” there’s a kind of love that steadies the world instead of trying to fix it.
