read and you make an assumption.

This world is so dark

your lies hurt my heart

lying on bed I think

why, when and how.

 

I adored the smell

I admired the view

your fiery eyes shone upon this dark night

A heartbreaking piece, I think it was written more for yourself than anyone else. It is done subtly and with very few words, but you manage to get the emotions across beautifully. The pain and yearning is portrayed vividly, and the last line:

"Oh Darkness give me life!"

Only adds the cherry on the top.

Wonderfully written, i look forward to reading more of your works.
