To those claiming to be friends
-including those who just pretend-
To whom concern is just a trend:
Is an ear too much for you to lend?
Time too valuable for you to spend?
.....And once I'm useful, you'll ascend,

Even as your words offend_
_and whilst my thoughts begin to blend,
Is it you I can depend?
To help my mind begin to mend..
or is that where your friendship ends?
I simply wish to make amends,
before we cross this bridge again.

Encore! Bravo! (Trumpets blaring) you rhyme is on point, your content is good, your vocabulary well chosen, my advice? I haven't scanned it but just Incase try adding metrical structure it would really enhance it.. and before you know it, it would take off like a song (which I always believed to be poetry's highest form) 100pnts!
