The Butterfly

Flutter by, little one

Your wings bring my soul to life

Bring a flush of colour to my world

You make my want to soar with you

Fly, without a care in the world

Hop from one flower to another

And drink the sweet juice within the petals

And your tiny heart beats

Like a soft, gentle strike on a drum

The flapping of your wings,

Such a comforting sound

Like a melody to my ears

Flutter by, little one!
