A Poem by riatakharu

I delighted in watching
peering upward
head up to Her

as the cumulus variations
pushed through
running

as she left Her rainbow
in the darkness.

Her light ignites the eyes in a glare
i can not turn from
as she dances flirting
beneath the shimmer
sheen in colors
I learned as a child

Rose and soft rouge
Soft blues and whites
and dark grey and they delight
in her giving them seconds of beauty.

And I realize that it is Her light that gives,
for even in the Dark
Light shines.

fraztarzWe never know when the end comes
those winds that come in the dark cold night

Seem stronger harder louder
without warning we wonder in our selves alone.

Shatter the glass
created to keep them out,

to change our lives forever.

When we least expect it;
it calls upon us
echoing a song of death and destruction
as a return for our own misgiving in the silence.

Patriot and democratic accolades.
