The Thinker's Soul

what do YOU think?

Small and fragile thoughts

Can join in one realistic goal

Other thoughts surround and

Reinforce the thinker’s soul.

The landscape of the cogent goal

Will scamper through one’s dreams

And reach the point of

Light to think again, or it would seem.

 

A clarity of conscience ought

To satisfy these themes,

To coexist with thoughts of other

Interrupted schemes.

But Heaven’s love can help

With all of what will come to pass,

And lead our being into

Such a love one can’t surpass.

The initial thought requires affirmation from other thoughts in order for the soul of the thinker to reach satisfaction. However, there are some things that never become clear until that Heavenly spirit makes the connection with the Thinker's soul. I really enjoyed this, dan.

Dan, first off, I really dig Rush :) Seen them live. Now about this positive attitude...hahaha I thought dreams were only real as long as you're asleep...I really like this side of your art. Not that I don't like the others. You're quite mysterious, even to yourself it seems. It's all good as far as I'm concerned. The beauty of poetry is the root that lies deep inside. A buddy of mine and myself went to see Rush 46 times in a 12 year span. One weekend we saw them 5 times in three days. Nothing mysterious about THAT...we put the fan in fan-atic!
