pulse

pulse

A Poem by dan
"

organic/electronic rumble and flow

"

a pulse organic, wreaking havoc;

electric current of power surging.

urging panic, the diagnostics

indicate the trouble, tragic.

a throbbing, freakish frequency

relinquishing the fallen pressure;

hit the button, brightly colored…

hover now on heaven’s doorstep.

in life’s impatient pulsing flow,

the blood and power find no place

to go.

I fell in love with the poem and the song.

it's a pleasure my friend. sorry i am a bit brief, but i am just in awe-struck :P.
Yes, it certainly reminded me of all the machines attached to my dad when he was admitted in the hospital. Especially the one which monitors heart beats. How happy was he when returned home, away from that stinking and painful room.

Dan, not sure if this is what you are speaking of but this reminds me of people in my life that have been in the hospital. All the machines hooked up to them and possibly at havens doors whether that make it or not. A powerful piece you have written. I hope I didn't interpret it wrong but if I did I think it was very visual in the words.

So erratic and powerful. That sense of a rollercoaster of emotions all happening at once, helplessness woven throughout your words.
The music really helps emphasize that!!

Dan: I enjoyed it, and the visual and imagery you created is intense; so many interpretations; all wonderful (hope you find that alright); the feeling of helplessness comes shining through for me; that pulse, that electric current, could be adrenaline, the pulse the pace of our world, pushing people; the pressure to succeed, confusion abounds; a panic attack; everything's organic; there's a relationship. This is very good. Interesting. Thanks. Really interesting. Dale

That machine is nerve wrecking
I know this feeling way too much

I love how you place it in such simplicity
Delivering that pulsing motion
