The sounds of the fog

Curl around another bay

In water’s deep sleep.

A very neat Haiku, Dan.

Personifying fog with an element of sound. A very smart idea. I wonder if this also alludes to the fog inside our mind that sometimes enshrouds us?

No this was strictly devised to highlight the meteorological phenomena. As one famous poet (whose name escapes me) said: "the fog crept in on little cat feet."

This creates a beautiful setting, right away I was reminded of fishing on the water. Nothing around, just nature and you. One spot I like to go is a local marsh where many frogs reside on the water. I suppose, in nature, its just background noise.

the waters sleep - fog is the eiderdown which muffles the cityscapes usual cacophony and creates this 'fingers in ears' feeling. Excellent imagery Dan. Beautiful work...
