Won't Forget

Won't Forget

A Poem by Dorita

  Won't Forget

   Maybe people move on,
   Maybe people sometimes,
   forget.
   But I won't forget,
   that you were here.
   That your life mattered,
   not just to me.
   God gave you to me,
   for a time.
   That mattered.
   Your strong faith,
   will be remembered.
   You were here,
    And you won't be forgotten,
    by me.
    I thank God,
    that you were my mom,
    and that,
    you were here.
