Always There

Always There

A Poem by Dorita

   Always There
The sun shone onto the basketball court outside of a high school, where Alex was having a hard day, and talked to his mom later about it, and she told him that God was there, always there for him. A bride was worried on her wedding day about her upcoming marriage, and just before walking down the aisle, her dad looked at her and said, "Don't be nervous, God is always there."
A new employee was nervous on his first day of work in a tall building, and just before he walked in, his wife texted him, "You will do great today, and remember, God is always there."
An older man walked across a crowded street and looked out over the busy street, and he was glad that over the course of his life, he knew that times had been good and hard in his life, but he also knew that God had always been there, and that He would never leave him.
He gives strength to the weak and grace. He is always there.

God is like a potato chip some people say. Your name is close enough to Dorito so maybe you are New Jesus?
