The OutcomeA Poem by Rachelvery dark, yet has the use of extended metaphors and visual imageryDarkness crawls, it folds around him, dragging along. A dead limb, "what's wrong? I come in Reverance." He calls to be known, but Silence drops down, crouching, towering, above all, except a Scream. It escapes, runs along the walls, but falls short of Ears; for they don't care, they go along their way, their Life. It runs with Eyes, they too, ignore it, for they want Beauty, not Pain. But Pain is real, and knows Darkness well, and also Scream. However, It begins with Darkness, for it can kill Light. And he cannot fight. © 2011 RachelAuthor's Note
