Exactly and you're very welcome and we as writers should encourage each other to do so.

I cannot think of a better way to break free from writer's block than to confront it head-on and write about it! Bravo!

Wanting to write but hitting walls drives me to distraction. I tend to over think things, even this. Wondering if its because I worry too much about format and not just getting the words on paper and them forming it.

Yes, over-worrying in itself can prohibit the flow of words. Just let them tumble out....
Sounds like writers block. Good write, it comes off as very real, like you really just wrote how you felt. That's what poetry is all about. Writers can relate to this

When I read it I totally thought you were writing about trying to talk to someone you love after having a argument!! Did not read it any other way. But when I read your response I can see what you were actually writing about. I love it!! (:

When I wrote it I wrote it I wasn't thinking about anything but not being able to write anything. I read it again after Quin mentioned it and sure enough, it could be taken either way. Perspective/interpretation, almost as individual as fingerprints.
well, this is exquisite double entendre . it could be about writer's block or it could be about the silent treatment from a significant other. either way, it is an awful and hateful feeling. nicely expressed!
There are those times when one must just step back, take a deep breath and look at the situation with a different perspective. This seems to be one of those times!! Thank goodness when one is willing to try again!!

Perhaps there is something that is particularly of more interest today than it was yesterday. It is hard to continue, but I once made a pledge to myself to write something every day, no matter how insignificant it seemed, or how "bad" it was. It has worked for me. Don't be harsh on yourself - just let the words flow!
Good luck!!
