So Alive

A little light to warm up to

The day has begun
with a beautiful sunrise.
I am grateful for my love ones
and the almighty Lord above.
Even though I feel emotions intensely,
it’s a sign that I am alive.
The day has ended
with a remarkable sunset.
Another day, I’ve made it.

Author’s Note

I am honestly so happy and blessed to be alive. I still remember the days where I struggled getting out of bed and getting the motivation to do anything. While that can still happen these days, I have an undying sense of hope and light within me. I hope this little poem lightens up your day or night a little bit.

My special request is starting a happiness or gratitude jar where you put something you are grateful for or what made you happy on little piece of paper that you put into the jar and then when you are feeling down, you can pull one out! I have one and I can say it cheers me up.
