In the Right Place

Prose poem about being in the right place.

It's not what you want that makes you fat, its what you get. 

You can lead a horse, but he won’t drink while you’re watching.

Pretty much everything from water to trolls pass under bridges. 

Pots and Kettles are incestuously sooted. 

The universe is electric, pay your utility bill. 

If none of this makes sense, you are more than likely in the right place.

So a bunch of people here only read/write poems... for what its worth, I also write fabulist fiction stories... but here's some prose of a sort. Critiques and comments welcome.

i only write poems....and am guilty of not reading many stories here, but I also feel quite unqualified to comment on fiction...I guess you can lead me to a story, but you can't make me drink it.
