NOW NOW YOU KNOW HOW I AM

NOW NOW YOU KNOW HOW I AM

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

Alright, nevermind to share in the hope
of a-cleansing rain
oh, rain, oh, rain,
oh, wonderful rain
oh, come to erase dismay
there is not nothing
like wonderful rain
are you awake here after it
and do you remember
what it feels like
deep enough to drown
also to fill up with gray
no easy way down saves those lost moves
so get on up and put on those shoes
let's go put on those shoes
comb that helpless hair hopeful
you and i a-try getting across
to our minds a-globe
through the streams, freshness still
in the sensations
watching the disturbance
across the surface
with expressing, expressing over again
and walk on, walk on
and i shall change to convene
of lines and signs to seek one time
wondrous and brief
you shall want always to see
the sun rays in the air lovely
the leaves shines ways
it it must be i assume
we saw in the first sight
stream along brightly
isn't it weird wet the dawn
in the sweet destiny of the sky
what we doing now
now now you know how i am
Alright, nevermind
i could stay right thereby this
in another way wakes us up feels good
extending a hand clutching underlines
i'm fetching flowers
until everything is gone
until that rain lent you and i
that happy feeling
of everything to know
when wonderful rain comes to pass on
in good or fine, nice weather
and even in this day
here, what is best
i'll take me a-stroll and step over
the birds chirping cheer upon
the rain won't let me forget so soon
standing on by my own two feet
when everyone wants
to run away and retreat home
i stay and take my pains
into my head befallen by my own means
looking straight at it forming into a spear
and letting it fall
on the face, all those lines
to vent or pretend
and does that so count for less
something significant
and cleans away gone sadness
thereof and thereby
cloudy poems shiny
the flowers do not fade
they close and open again
they look like an awkward parade
the wet grass smells clean, the rain falls flat
a-drop of that on the paper
embrace to understand
for you i have both us
not anything rough around the rocks
are you awake here after it
and do you remember
what it feels like
deep enough to drown
no easy way down saves those lost moves
so get on up and put on those shoes
let's go put on those shoes
comb that helpless hair hopeful
you and i a-try getting across
into our minds a-globe
through the streams, freshness still
in the sensations
watching the disturbance
across the surface
with expressing, expressing over again
and walk on, walk on
and i shall change to convene
of lines and signs to seek one time
wondrous and brief
and in you shall want always to see
the sun rays in the air lovely
the leaves shines ways
it as this must be i assume
we saw in the first sight
streams alongsides brightly
isn't it weird wet the dawn
in the sweet destiny of the sky
what we doing now
now now you how i am
Alright, nevermind
i could stay right thereby this
so in another way wakes us up feels good
extending a hand clutching underlines
i'm fetching flowers
until everything is gone
until that rain lent you and i
that happy feeling
of everything to know
i know the road
i got a-dotty umbrella
yellow and red connects
not anything rough around
where on Earth are we
should you needs
should you wants
one to erase dismay
it never fails to amaze how i feel
in all of it life's bases ain't swept
and its bitter entanglements disappears
behind the mountain
as when i am here under going like before
and pulling it down
outta no-where
outta the new dawn to find
i know the road
i got a-dotty umbrella
yellow and red connects in a-row
not anything rough around goes
listens to the rains pours down hits hard
although it's not for someone else
or what else, i could go on
oh, when it's going to change
watching the wheels turn
and the rest of the little world go
oh, rain, oh, rain
oh, wonderful rain
there is not nothing
like wonderful rain
in what world i felt that thorn
the flowers passion to be careful
blooming with joy
now i feels as only as clouds
i'm going on throughout
a passage misunderstood
a message was left
on the ice box door
a spend bloom, a dead dream
with rising, rising, rising over again
everyday, drifting petals
in a-cleansing rain
watch it completely filled in
and emptied again
to hold the rain
farther than thatwe both can go
two pennies, two folds unsold
everything can't be ye old Moon
something's must be because, but
outta by my own self one cover of another
gentle Island can i abandon not my ship
of a-kinder extreme
and streams along brightly
is this enuff water
free, oh, a-little while longer
for an instant blank
a-comfort within cast it away up to stay
sunshine straight a way
i think i know how it's lit up there
since i have not seen a lot to say
oh, when we troubled be
at what is going on we kiss to have it so
wash'd away gone to sadness
thereof and thereby
cloudy poems shiny
flowers do not fade
they close and open again
they look like an awkward parade
the wet grass smells clean the rain falls closer
embrace to understand
for you i have us both
not anything rough around
where on Earth are we
are you awake here after it
and do you remember
what it feels like
deep enough to drown
also to fill up with gray
no easy way down saves those lost moves
so get on up and put on those shoes
let's go put on those shoes
comb that helpless hair hopeful
so you and i a-try getting across
in our minds a-globe
through the streams, freshness still
in the sensations
watching the disturbance
across the surface
with expressing, expressing over again
and walk on, walk on
and i shall change to convene
of lines and signs to seek aloneone time
wondrous and brief
we shall want always to see
the sun rays in the air lovely
the leaves shines ways
it must be i assumes
we saw in the first sight
and streams along brightly
isn't it weird wet the dawns
in the sweet destiny of the sky
what we doing now
now now you know how i am
Alright, nevermind
i could stay right thereby this
from another way wakes us up feels good
extending a hand clutching underlines
i'm fetching flowers
until everything is gone
until that rain lent you and me
that happy feeling
of everything to know
i know the road to go
i got a-dotty umbrella
yellow and red connects
not anything's rough around the center wall
should you needs now, wants now
one to erase a-fear
into the gentle windings we go
of circles wellsthen upon tumbles of weeds alike
the movements we go
why it's my kind of thing
incites at sticks to beit gives to me feelings so
tender withouti want you
to see that we kiss to have it againwhen it rains
it pours slowly all into thee values
of a poem at one ends in starts
to let the joy, joy, joy be known
going over it again
i never say anything abouts
in a-cleansing rain
for an instant blank
and sparkles along the river lines
it'll nicely pass us by
so i sit to stay on the loose strings together
i knew i will get it today
holding the ball
continues throughout
the leaves shines a way
by my own light makes me travel
my own stride over in an enjambment to enjoy
oh, forever beams many smokes ago,
likeso ye old Moon's got thee.
