Time Is A Lazy Sway

Time Is A Lazy Sway

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

they say nay

cool don't look

to and from

waves they been

time is a lazy sway

beyond was appearance

alights afoot among brooks

time is a lazy sway

attention came there

roughly their wild universe

hazy worn real

crazy for you

I send it, I find it

seen inside a deep dirt dark fate

leaf just fell loose

with my head up high

days, stairways to

no regrets

straight away down

can't go any higher

elevates in there

in and out

shelves to land

in an insight

at both feet can see

have a great day

escapes in the dust

to this little effect

illuminated

causes swiftly goes

we noted for looms wove

looking out

at the colors cloudy

restoring thinking

feeling more alike a-blotch

for what's joy

in an drain, in an end

in an finish, in an underline

I can see gives ways also paths

no shadows

let's the bright dance back

of mountaintops

ever shows

blindness there

what's lost

by moonlight longing again

in the middle

oh, where will

oh, whereabouts how

I never knew

we're facing the wind by throes aside

my movements slower

on lots invisible

it could be

or not be

lost in the melody

of a-morning song

from this is

to do promises

within choices

& out there is

voices & visions in horizons

within teardrops

on the pages

within raindrops

scatter'd divine

on the windows

I don't know that stuff

don't ask me

all's a lost book

I call'd it this of your locks

for the facts

my standing on a box

freedom connects

in your accumulation of the misfits

to this I live alright

might be so

I don't dislike the mist start'd

other times keeps this

positive, negative

in dreams

mistreated shells of homes

behind curtains

upon the loops

now my own insides

thrown topsides bottom

downward underfoot

sure at doorways

here at pathways unexpect'd

figures out a poem

that never ends

no directions

to furnish it on

carries this along

petals flying off

the surface loud

noisy wings now

oh, older tower

speaking

sprinkling

shouting how?

whispers back

swiftly humming

no words plain sung

on two clouds

misty blooms

surrounding us betook

suggestive tunes up

ways over lips

as we is at the best cake yet, good

gentleness

listens no breezes thru

listens no pails depart two

hanging out

for your foresights clear

facing it first

a-past almost midnight reads

I overheard

no words plain

something

incoherent

the spirit of it

the spirit of place

of the rose

into my vision

can I get pass it

how very soon this spans

it's over-all beats

there I am

getting deeper

where I am

traveling on

in the dark plays shrouds times bright

in this hood

they say nay

cool don't look on

done to and fro

waves they been

time is a lazy sway

lets in the light

maybe for another leap this year

oh, kiss'd aways harder ye lips are softer, yes

time is a lazy sway

or maybe not yet to know

we'll see furthermore so do

follow me down to the foundation.

Very good - it delivers a mood well. I enjoyed the flow of words without dwelling too much on any meaning. I must admit when I got to to line 'a poem that never ends' I took fright but it did end soonish. I think your structure of short snappy lines works well for the lazy sway.
Well done, Alan
If you have a chance would you like to check out my poem 'Apocalypse now' - on page 3 Thanks
