MY OWN PLANT IT

MY OWN PLANT IT

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

all the way, everywhere, there was wish distill'd
i like to be when i'm feeling like this where
i'm wanting something together beautiful turning
what is, that is, my heart, just knew ease down
to follow it and i took a look into the color that isn't gone
the whole picture i'm yearning mad crazy purple removes labels
but beautiful with all my heart feeling good
and i don't throw away what matters to me
journeying to the very heart of my own plant it
with red cliffs dirt that don't hurt i'm happy whiles i dig it
very deep, very broken, i can forget it's gentle
deeper troubles here-in, somehow, i found to my center flow'd
corkscrew opening now i sure see what you means to me
it's difficult a bit but i can understand it
it's difficult a bit but i look forward to it
so way off, way in somewhere beautiful twisting
i'm hoping i find you, my own plant it
another vine-wall burst blues still hanging.
