BEHIND THE GRAY SCREEN DOOR

BEHIND THE GRAY SCREEN DOOR

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

I keep on waiting
Display my patience
I see gray clouds
I'm still warm, still cold
A blue day home
In learning how to be
And would they call
And let me go by
The only way out, in here
Was where we will move on
Is at a piece of wood befelled
Cutting out planks
Let's bounce, rains, winds
Now departed
The candle bends above
Rising on waves
The dark gray seas
Not anything else
That's just as good
What I wish for you
Oh, I would care
If I could come visit containing
How I am wanting
Waiting a clear day
I see gray clouds
I'm still warm, still cold
A blue day home
In this blue wing Heaven
In learning how to be
And would they call
And let me go by
The only way out, in here
Was where we will move on
Is at a-piece of wood befelled
Cutting out planks
Let's bounce, rains, winds
Now departed
The candle bends above
Rising on waves
Behind the dark gray seas
Not anything else
That's just as good
What I wish for you
Oh, I would care
If I could come over to the sky
How I go to this high
Which goes to this low
Where there's not
No suns to show thru
The skies everyday
Has graying clouds
They stay beforehand
One hope haven't dawn gone
before the day's done
Has almost this of the past seeks
So I go run, spun adrift
I have found it likable as whirlwinds
Up to the sweet light shines
On feelings for else,
Feels undone.
Something will stay alright love felt
Getting cloudier
All because you gray matter
Along the way a-going
May-be someday
I'll see sun
May-be someday
I'll see sun
All on the way
From the edge
Of the road
By others begots narrow steps
Behind the gray screen door road
Lost amongst woe
A space brain felt backwards
A big dream was time
All about blank now late
Chooses images
Generating energy exists
Across a black cloud
When will the rains come be
Circles around two words
On the way back
From the edge
Of the roads
For others begot narrow so sad
Tomorrow I'm sure
Will remember
Behind the gray screen door road
About blank now late
Chooses images
Imagine generating more energy
Across a black cloud
just dropping in unconditional
When will it rain circles
Behind the gray screen door
In a colorful location green unknown
an undiscover"d fountain
Side by side with me
Somewheres that lacks by the search
As far as I can tell
You look like an angel
Carrying something strange
Outta sight time
And enjoying what's left
it's almost over later now
I'm still warm, still cold
A blue day home
In this blue wing Heaven
When will it rain again weep
All clouded increases
Sometimes shows
So ways too soon now hides
They may stay beforehand
So way too down then back thru
And would they call
And let me go by
The only ways
Was where we will move on up
Is at a piece of wood befelled
Cutting out planks sharp
Let's bounce, rains, winds
Now departed
The candle bends above
Rising on waves
Behind the dark gray seas
Not anything else but hills
I'll see sun
On the way
I'm still warm, still cold
A blue day home
to this blue wing Heaven right-on
In learning how to be, to be long ago.
