Our Minds Must Work On It Gather On It Many Vents

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

i need, i need
but oftentimes
sadly enough
i fail to see what
heals with heart
helps the mind
amending i am
one them and us beats tail end
of the lost ships sent
who's walked to go
a long long whiles
head hanging low
stumbling down the crystal staircase
around one place to the next
for something gotten by that shift'd
i couldn't find went looking
trekking along stones
will flow rolling on
both these memories dreams last
by water with debris i search love are true
awaiting awhile i sees
with new eyes
different eyes
lifted eyes brighter
our minds must
work on it gather on it many vents
wonderful that it's meant
any time any place
so much to find betterments
of both these memories dreams imparts
both hearts senses has put buds once
not indifference
oh, beautiful it is
hopes together chimes
both these memories dreams carry them
we searched through spaces, noisy, sent?
so lost we are tonight
to reaches for at edges in silent service
and if it is, it is thus so
we are so moved
to see it backwards
many times thru lonesome chapters onwards
oh, so, to now go set forth
shapes of waters regards
how these eyes
are here unloosens sunken vessels
sees with heart
heals the mind
still bursting with tears this declines
does feel
the love again,
thanx.
