I WILL THINK OF YOU

I WILL THINK OF YOU

A Poem by Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

In Winter when snow flakes blow

as, ever, to be-still having a-bath

at one-time all our's was

bringing flowers in May

I will think of you
in Spring when wild roses bloom gathering up very soon
I will think of you
and when summer sun finally comes thru
a-kiss of breeze will ease me
I will think of you
in autumn-time when leaves fall
all will seem so gray, as, to, most
the happy month of April windowsills raincoats
May goes over shadows
days might seem so far away
I will think of you
on the trails so very long done without you
I'm so happy and my head is so heavy
you are gone and I'm alone
and still alive I will be me
inside them thorns by the vines
are the bright midnight memory-gardens
if destination begets with ye still leaves again free
and lets me speak
and still driving you will be the spirit
within my memories
I will think of you
to kiss good-bye sadness
on a-flower left on the dark pathway out
remembering how all held me, supported me, too
returned to me happy kisses
of breezes will ease me
I will think of you
I don't wait too well although I try
if not begot within ye ever again free
and let me speak
an enduring chorus of colors
supporting me and returning to me
rivers of clear waters running on wild
lost in the wood scribbles
covered in blues creeping over nets of lights
became Springtime, sweet smells deeply
I will think of you
wait, wait, we will see keeping on
bulbs buried that shine here-after you
I don't know there is no telling
where i am going
I like where i am going
I'm sure enuff, i think it
I don't know I just want to live
on a-flower left on a path
to stretch my legs
to stretch my mind
to stretch something light before
in Winter would tightens up one cold rain
in Winter when the snow flakes blow
flowers that are out there sparkling clear
thy cheeks may droop
which one should I choose
sometimes this confuses me
contains connections cheerfulness flashes
of red roses so smiling not gone one cold Spring day
I will think of you
in Spring when wild roses bloom gathering up very soon
I will think of you
rushing back to you.
