RAIN

falling rain...

Rain, with silver, silken grace,

Falls in folds of silver lace,

Holds the sky in soft embrace

As the thirsty earth gives praise.

we are used to RAIN here....I guess that you don't see so much of it, and this poem is almost romantic in its beautiful description

mmmmm.....you painted this natural cycle beautifully.....I live in a desert where I get rain three times a year, and then it is muddy.....when I arrive in a normal country, and it rains, we run out, standing in it, soaking it up, and just like you describe, "give praise", like the earth does......:)

I live in Southwest texas, where rain is not usually plentiful, but we've been having rain since March. It's getting a little tiresome...
