SUNSET

And yet another sunset poem...

Crimson fades to rose,

Silver dulls to gray,

Purple shadows spread

Through the gold of day.

 

Scarlet flames are embers,

Embers turn to sparks;

Brightness shines a moment,

Then gives way to dark.

For me dawn and sunsets are the festivals of nature.

A very nice write. Provoked me to go outside and enjoy it(if it could be seen, lol).
