SIGNS

SIGNS

A Poem by Marie
"

You never know when it's going to rain...

"

“Rain by afternoon,” they say.
“Never mind the sunny day.

Calling crows don’t lie, and then

Frogs are croaking in the glen.”

There’s no whiff or drop of wet"

“Storm is coming soon; get set.”

I look up and find it true:

Pewter clouds across the blue.
