You birds are too loud,

Disturbing my sleep;

Please keep it to

A reasonable cheep.

 

Already the rising

Sun is too bright.

I cover my head

And long for the night.

ranch raised i am a norning person but thr sleep in days that happened once in a while were good too...and this sounds like my daughter...definitely not good in the morning...she loved your poem...thank you for a well done write...

I'm glad your daughter liked the poem. But I actually am a morning person, because that is when I get most of my work done.
