Black Ribbons
A Poem by Rogerh
Just a little thing I wrote.
Black RibbonsBlack ribbons falling from the sky
Disgraced Angels go dancing by
Within a globe of fire and snow
They put on a glorious show
Painted faces playing charades
Little cars go by in clown parades
Wind blown flowing black locks
Dash me mercilessly upon jagged rocks
I am in pieces but not at peace
As I am left behind for a dog feast

"Painted faces playing charades".
"As I am left behind for a dog feast"
These two lines got me. In all honesty, I felt like I could relate with this piece.
