Pieces Of My Brain

Pieces of my brain
Falling away like rain
Memories becoming like ghost
Burning like stale toast
Fading away into obscurity
Like the silence inside of me
Floating in an endless sea
Drowned by my own tranquility
Words that I can no longer find
Escape like prisoners from my mind
Hidden behind my expressionless stare
Is the pain I can no longer bear
Pieces of my brain fall onto the floor
Until there is none left any more
