My life is destented

Unconnected

You say when things go wrong it is unconnected

It is not related to my feelings neglected

It is all based on happenstance

Just put it all down to chance

Coincidence is not my cup of tea

Especially when they happen to me

Everything is connected if you look

Like it is all written down in a book

You cannot change what has been written

Unconnected?

Not from where I am sittin'
