A poem to my one true love from long ago

My One True Love

What am I to do without my true love?

She is the only one that I ever think of

She went away without a single word

I will never find another like her

She was my first and will be my last 

My heart now lives forever in the past

Her love died but mine it did not

Now I must live with this broken heart

Her love haunts me every single night

Try to love another but it never seems right

I should move on but that's hard to do 

Can't get over a love you thought was true
