Take from this what you willA Poem by ronTake from this what you will
I should take this endeavor on against all advisement.
It is not the heart that bleeds the most? Does not the mind, relish in companionship and equality?
Would you forsake me when time has turned against you? When the walls constructed, are meant to diminish all that you are?
Would you stand with me even when fate demands that you relinquish what little of humanity you horde.
Take heart dear patriot, For freedom shall not be determined by the ones that hold power.
Freedom shall set you free, If you are worthy and know how to wield it. Then you dear patriot shall be the flaming sword that releases all from the chains that bind us in dictatorship.
It is history that teaches us that the will of the people shall be the standard by which rules the power of the republic. And not the Republic or Democracy that hides in the shadows of socialism. © 2013 ronReviews
