Is it as real in a dream?

 

I dream of things I have not had,

I wish it were more.

 

I lie at night and feel my thoughts,

As they bid me to sleep once more.

 

In my dreams you are waiting for me,

Your love is all I know.

 

Is a kiss given in a dream,

As real as it is in life?

 

Could a touch be as gentle,

Or an embrace be as tight?

 

Would you love me if I were more than a dream?

Please tell me and set my mind at ease.
