A name…

A name is given to a person to identify them,

To give them individual identity so others will know who they are.

 

But a soul; what someone is has done has no name.

A soul identifies a person by their deeds, accomplishments, actions.

 

When someone passes on, his/her name is spoken,

But it is their legacy that continues on.

Very truth and profound! The name is just the coverage of what is inside the human, lie a box, the same as body...the name we can hear but the soul is the little invisible treasure inside everyone...SO we have to nourish it and keep it safe and grow it in the right way, so our name is not "useless"...very beautiful!
