A kitty once told me to be whom I was inside…

So I did, now I have scratch’s were scratch’s should not be.

 

I looked at her shyly, amazed with my feelings.

Please little kitty scratch me some more.

If I didn't hate cats, I'd be more amused (lol). But with that aside, I like the way this poem awakens feelings in the narrator that almost contradict the image of "kitty" since that is supposed to be somewhat innocent whereas the end result does not seem as innocent because the narrator shyly pleads for more scratches (did what I just say even make sense?!). Anyhow, creative and interesting... another great poem, Ron!
