Love Hidden

 

Would I have you now too, take you to desires edge?

Would your lips taste sweeter upon mine?

 

Would your words wrap my thoughts,

So lovingly, placed and bound?

 

Would your touch be gentle, and full of care?

Could your Love be pure and void of wondering?

 

All this I ask silently,

For fear of the deafening sound of your answer.

 

I wrap the shadows once more around me,

Like a cold blanket, it lovingly shrouds me.

 

Blinders to true Love I wear,

Lest the truth of it all blind me.
