While you are goneA Poem by ronWhile you are gone
Could you hear my heart break, could you feel the sighs of my thoughts?
Do you know how much I miss you, when your gone?
You say you will be back in no time at all, even if it where for a day, eternity would feel longer.
Lips pressed against the empty lonely air, hands reach for the the place you memories live.
The crowds are filled with imagines of you, every sound hunts me with your voice.
Music no longer makes any sense, the words they use seem meaningless.
The birds no longer visit, caterpillars have made their cocoons.
Winter has fallen on my heart. The fallen leaves remind me of how barren my life now feels.
When you come back, the trees will bloom and the birds will sing your song.
The caterpillars will spring to life, with wings, the images of you.
The songs will play, as you walk in the crowds and the empty spaces will be filled.
The voices of you will be held in my heart, and make every day come true. © 2014 ronReviews
