What I wish I could say

 

 

 

I wish I could tell you the words that are in my heart,

I wish I could make you feel what I feel.

 

I could never think of a minute without you next to me,

to hear your voice,

see you,

feel you,

to make love to you every night.

 

You have filled my heart with so much love,

you have made yourself a part of who I am becoming.

 

Somehow the word “love” does not describe what I feel for you,

how could it, how could a single word express what my heart is feeling?

 

But for now the word “love” times one thousand,

only scratches the surface of how much love I have for you.
