Accepting things about each other,

a lot of people say it,

until they find out there are a lot of deeply guarded secrets.

 

In reality all they really wanted,

was a “normal person” who had normal secrets to reveal.

 

But once in a lifetime someone comes into your life,

who accepts the things about you,

and loves you like your normal.

Normal...hmmm who is normal and what is normal? I think "normal" has never been real, but some kind of facade that we try to strive for... yet it has always been just a lie. Really everyone has their issues, their secrets, their pieces about themselves they would rather not ever show. No matter how dark we think they are...everyone has them. When you do find that person that realizes that, and knows that THIS is normal, then... hold on to them, because sadly there is not enough accepting hearts out there these days. Well written and thought provoking piece...truly enjoyed.

I think that if we claim to love someone we need to accept them for who they are and whatever makes them happy .In the end that's what matters being there for them :)
